Hi All,

Here at Benco Dental we are looking for some user/group security access reporting tools for our Prelude system.  We have some internally developed security maintenance tools, but they don't provide enough information.

Has anybody developed or know of any aftermarket tools to generate information for user/group security analysis reporting, beyond those already in System Builder?  Does Activant/Prelude provide any additional security tools?

Thanks,

What exactly are you looking for?  A list of menus that each person has access to?  Or the programs that a person has run?  The menu thing could be generated from the DEVMENUS information but the list of programs that a person has run would require additional logging code to be installed in the menus.  I know of one Prelude client that has done some extensive logging in this area, but they did it internally, it wasn't anything that Prelude had pre-baked.

Send along some notes as to what kinds of features you want so we can tell if this is something we might have seen before.
