I've been chasing an issue with /QPI for what has seemed to be an excessively long time, and now that I've found the solution I'd like to bounce this off other Prelude users to see if you've seen the same thing?

We have a customer with a slightly customized version of /QPI that calculates conversion trends for quote lines.  We noticed that under certain circumstances, the Q.PN.HIST file was not being updated properly.  For example, if someone changed the selling warehouse on the quote header, all of the quote lines xref'd in Q.PN.HIST would be tied to the original selling warehouse, and not the current selling warehouse.  More of a problem, however, if someone did a line split and quoted a product with quantities out of more than one location, only the first line would be updated into Q.PN.HIST.  As a result the open quantity and the conversion trends calculations we added were coming up incorrect.  (That's actually how we discovered the problem; the quote conversion trend numbers weren't making sense.)

I've checked version 21 and I'm not seeing where split lines (created via ORD.AUTO.SPLIT.UPD) are being updated into Q.PN.HIST, so this looks to be a problem even in the current release.  Can anyone else confirm this?  Or is it just not an issue for most folks?

We have had similar problems with /QPI (and our custom versions of it).  My notes say that running /QUOTE.BUILD.XREF will fix the issues (at least the ones we have).  Does this rebuild correct the problem you are having?

It should, but the problem is having the time to run the rebuild every day.
