I have a program that needs to have a General Selection Interface, which, I believe is loaded by the program GSI.ENT.  This Interface is used in SOHI, for example.  I would be curious to find out how to create my own General Selection Interface.

I could use GRIM, but that would prompt for execute, schedule, etc.  So, that won't work.

I’ve got it figured out.  It is quite elementary.  First, you set up a GRIM screen in /UGRI and then you do an EXEC "GSI.ENT,GrinmName,NONE" in the paragraph.

When you accept, you are left with the selection criteria in @PARMS(39).  Then, of course, you could call a selection process and pass @PARMS(39) to it.

Just thought you all might want to like a heads up on how to use the General Selection Interface.

Wow.  This is the first I've heard of a general selection interface.  Will have to check that out.

Yeah, as a matter of fact, they use that in /SOHI with a little bit more fluff than I needed.
