We have a number of SystemBuilder GUI screens that use the checkbox/toggle object. What we are experiencing is this. SystemBuilder, by default, puts the label to the right of the actual box. If the developer moves the label to the left side of the box, as the user navigates through the screen, there is nothing to indicate to the user that the focus is on that field. Now, if you utilize the Toggle Label in the properties, it will be positioned to the right of the box and the focus is put on the label when the user navigates through the screen. With that said, is there a way to move the label to the left side and still have the focus hit the label as the user navigates the screen?

Thanks,

Keith Shaffer

Not that I know of in the current releases of SB+.  I've never seen the checkbox label on the left.

The reason that we would put the labels on the left of the checkbox is to maintain the consistency with the other input fields. Is there a way withing SystemBuilder properties or setup to do that?

Thanks,

I understand the motivation, but I don't see any way to move the checkbox to the other side without decoupling the checkbox and the label.  Sorry.

What I've done is to put a couple of spaces, rather than blank, in the label string of the check box.  It will give you a focus to the question on the right of the check-box.  Put the descriptive label on the left.  It's not what you want, but it does show you where the focus is without taking much real estate. Its a work around.
