I guess it's my turn.  Here goes.

My name is rudy.  I've got 4 kids, twin daughters just turned 31, a 20 year old son, and my baby son who is 9, and of course my wife.  I was born in my grandfathers house in Japan, came to the states before I was 10, moved around alot, a real lot.  Ended up settling down in Socal, been here for a long time, co-inventor of the wheel, that's how long it's been.
I enjoy photography and playing music.  Used to make part of my living playing drums in night clubs.  Now I play in a Scottish pipe band.  The kilts a drag but the music is to die for.

Graduated from UC Davis with a degree in avian sciences.  From the advice of my dad and a lipid biochemist, whom I was doing research with at the county morgue, they advised me to go into computer programming.  It's a long story.

Started off programming on Dec pdp/11's then eventually moved to PICK on microdata realty.  For the past 15 years of so it's been mainly universe with some unidata and sql server thrown in.

So that's pretty much it for me.

Hi Rudy - I assume you play the drums in the pipe band?  My HDLP (hetero-domestic-life-partner) did that for a long time, too.  Names the song/ballad after hearing one or two seconds of a distant sigh of a bag pipe, which I find amazing.    You have had a diverse and interesting history.
