SB 5.4.4 and phantom

I have been noticing a very strange behavior by the phantom. When I start the phantom and press "Esc" to quit that particular phantom screen, and when I re-launch the phantom screen, I see the Phantom as stopped.
But when I start the phantom, and leave that window open, the phantom does not get killed.
When I launch phantom on one session & let it run, and when I launch another session, I see the phantom killed in the new session launched.
Are you aware if any of these weird behaviors are attributed to the SB+ 5.4.4 or SBClient 5.4.4?
We are planning a software upgrade when we notice this.

I responded to this over on SBSolutions; I'm really not understanding what you're looking at when you talk about the "phantom screen". Is this a specific vendor product?
