Overview

In January of 1994, Precision Solutions was launched to provide training and support for companies that use products developed with IBM's SB+ application development environment. Since then, we've set the standard for professional software development worldwide with our critically acclaimed SB+ Solutions reference, professional developer training, solutions implementation, and support services.

To provide the best support possible, Precision Solutions has three locations in three different time zones to serve you:

• Mountain: Longmont, Colorado
• Eastern: Baltimore, Maryland
• Pacific: Battleground, Washington

As a software solutions provider, we understand the need to have a vast collection of technology options from which to choose. Therefore, in tandem with our support of various vendor products, we also use and support a number of other technologies including:

Objective

At Precision Solutions, our objective is really quite straightforward: We solve problems. To achieve this, we use this remarkably simple and effective process:

While this may sound overly simplistic, it's a reflection of our belief that the best solutions start and end with solid customer relationships. This is why we say we're building relationships with results.

As a Precision Solutions customer, here are some things you can count on:

• Real people are here, waiting for your call.

  When you call, expect to speak to a real person immediately. If for some reason we can't take your call immediately, expect to be contacted either by email or phone no later than the same time on the next business day. (24 hour support is also available.)

• You will get answers.

  You don't need to be chasing down answers from all over. Let us be your first and last call. We'll use every resource necessary to find the right solution for you.

• You will be informed.

  We know that there's nothing more frustrating than not knowing how a project may be progressing. For this reason, you can count on being informed regularly about your projects, any outstanding issues that may require your input, and progress towards important milestones along the way. For those customers with specific reporting requirements, we'll work with you to make sure you get the information you need when you need it.

• You will save time and money.

  We understand you have a choice when selecting a software solutions provider, and cost can be a significant consideration. With our focus on maximum productivity, we're able to achieve more in less time, thus saving you money.... often LOTS of money.

Our People

	Kevin King - President/Chief Technologist With 23 years of developing software solutions for a variety of vertical markets, Kevin is internationally recognized as a leading application developer and educator for multidimensional database environments and IBM's SB+. His SB+ Solutions book is considered the authority for application development using IBM's SB+. He is also the inventor of the Phoenix multidimensional storage technology, a Christian music producer, an enthusiastic motorcyclist, and instrument rated private pilot. In March of 2001, Kevin was the featured "Information Technology All-Star" in Contract Professional magazine. Click here for a PDF reprint of the article. In 2007 Kevin became an IBM Certified Solutions Provider for the U2 product family. Before founding Precision Solutions, Kevin held top development positions with Jenkon Data Systems and Security Pacific Information Services Corp.
	Jim Jedrey - Technology Consultant Jim brings nearly 20 years of customer-oriented software development and training experience to the Precision Solutions team. A former senior member of the IT team at Vertis Communications, Jim has also served on the board of the Open Systems Database Association and has been published in industry periodicals. Jim lives in the greater Baltimore area with his wife and his two children and in his precious spare time, enjoys writing children’s literature.
	Steve Long - Technology Consultant Steve has been providing software and support solutions for over 12 years in a variety of technologies and markets. He has held lead development and technical positions with both Jenkon Data Systems and Automated Data Processing, where his unique understanding of his customers’ needs, grasp of different technologies, and always exceeding expectations earned him awards in both product development and support services. Steve lives in southwest Washington with his wife and 4 children where he enjoys coaching youth football and leading worship at his church.
